Cadet Program

The cadet program is an extremely vital part of our squad. These young men and women are the up and coming members and officers of Lanoka Harbor EMS.

Cadets are 14-18 years old

Under NJ state law, at 16 years old a cadet is able to attend classes and attempt to receive the rank of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).

Leadership Opportunities

Our Cadet Captain acts as liaison between the cadet membership, and the rest of the squad. The Cadet Captain also has increased responsibilities, such as ensuring cadet participation in squad events, and much more.

One on One Training

Our cadets are taught about patient care and assessment, as well as what all of the different equipment is and how to utilize each item.

Scholarships Available

Lanoka Harbor EMS offers annual scholarships to students furthering their knowledge in the medical field. Members of our agency benefit from increased chances of being selected as a scholarship recipient.
