LOSAP
Length of Service Awards Program. Each year you qualify, the Township of Lacey will deposit $1,150.00 into a retirement account in your name.
Free Training
Including CPR, Basic First Aid, defibrillator usage and emergency vehicle driving. EMT certification is available at a nominal fee via the New Jersey EMS Training Fund.
“Work” from Home
We don’t require our members to stay at headquarters while they are on duty, as long as you meet minimum response time guidelines.
Career Development
Most employers, especially professions such as para-medicine, fire fighting and law enforcement, look upon applications with EMS experience more favorably.
Federal & State Tax
Deductions
Consult with your accountant about how you can receive federal and state tax deductions by volunteering.
Scholarship
Opportunity
High school seniors who are LHEMS members are eligible for our annual scholarship.

Lanoka Harbor EMS hosts an annual banquet honoring the accomplishments of our members over the past year.
Free Continuing
Education Units (CEUs)
Provided at our headquarters, monthly trainings include various topics, several for CEUs at no cost to our members.
